With over 35 years in the healthcare sector, Sharon Grant is a recognized child advocate dedicated to improving outcomes for at-risk youth. She holds an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration from Wright College, a Bachelor of Science in Applied Behavioral Science from National College of Education, and a Public Policy certificate from Northwestern University/University College, Evanston, IL.

Sharon Grant is an accomplished leader in healthcare consulting, serving as the President of D. Sharon Grant & Associates, LLC since May 2011. Her firm focuses on developing obstetrics and pediatric services for small to mid-sized managed care organizations, employing strategies that enhance outcomes for Medicaid populations, particularly regarding high-risk pregnancies and neonatal care.

Previously, as Senior Vice President at Alpha Maxx Health Care, Sharon played a pivotal role in driving population health management initiatives in obstetrics and pediatrics. She led efforts to improve HEDIS performance measures and reduce healthcare costs for high-risk maternity populations. Her career also includes significant roles such as Executive Vice President and COO at Concerned Health Care of America, Inc., where she managed treatment for mental health and substance abuse, and Director of Marketing and Sales at Metro Care Division of Mount Sinai Hospital, where she developed effective marketing strategies and managed operations for an HMO. Sharon has also contributed to various government and community boards, including serving as President of the Chicago Board of Education and the Community Access Network Board (CAN).
