Christopher serves as the President and Chief Financial Officer of Trace Ambulance. Christopher has been involved with the ambulance industry since childhood. Prior to becoming President and CFO, Christopher held roles in virtually all aspects of the business including as a vehicle porter, billing clerk, EMT, call-taker, and Emergency Medical Dispatcher. Christopher also is the COO/CFO of Ambulance Transport, Inc.– a private holding company operating ambulance companies operating under the names of Trace Ambulance and ATI Vandenberg Ambulance. At Ambulance Transport, Inc., he heads the accounting and legal departments and spearheads various lobbying efforts on behalf of the organization and the private ambulance industry as a whole.
Prior to Ambulance Transport, Inc., Christopher was the manager of the State of Illinois’ only seed and early-stage venture capital program for the Illinois Finance Authority. During that time, he managed an active portfolio of over 20 investments, participating in over 25 transactions representing in excess $57,000,000 of capital invested. At IFA, his responsibilities included negotiating and executing private placements and representing the IFA on the Board of Directors, overseeing the operation and management of start-up technology companies. He also participated in a number of debt transactions for a variety of different types of entities, including local governments units, not for profits and small manufacturing businesses.
Christopher received his Juris Doctorate from the John Marshall Law School in 2008 and his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University in 2002. Christopher is admitted to the Bar for the State of Illinois and in the Northern district of Illinois. Christopher also holds licenses as an Emergency Medical Technician and Emergency Medical Dispatcher. He currently lives in Mokena, Illinois, with his wife, Lindsay, their kids (Harper, Jack and Addison) and dog (Nola).
